Learning a language from a book is one thing. But taking the step to actually speak—in a crowded restaurant, with the neighbors, or during a coffee break at work? For many non-native speakers, that is a major hurdle.

Koffie & Kletsen was born from a simple observation: many internationals spend hours studying complex grammar books, yet still face a significant hurdle when it comes to actually speaking the language. Traditional online courses often feel stiff and clinical—far removed from the warm, informal conversations we have in everyday life.

We wanted to change that. By transforming online language learning into a relaxed virtual coffee break, we've turned speaking Dutch into a social activity. Grab your favorite cup of coffee or tea, log in, and practice in an environment where making mistakes is simply part of the conversation, groups are limited to a maximum of six people, and you build your confidence step by step.
